Choosing a Template
In short
Sites is the home for every website in your organization. Each card is one project. Click a card to edit, use the menu for view, duplicate, or archive, and watch the live indicator to see whether visitors can see published content.

Where to find it

Open Sites from the dashboard sidebar. This is usually the first page you see after creating an organization. The page shows a grid of site cards sorted by most recently edited, plus a Create a new site card at the end of the row.

What each site card shows

Element
Meaning
Cover imageSEO social image or default branding — helps you spot sites at a glance
Site nameThe display name you chose when creating the site
Live indicatorGreen pulse = published content is live for visitors; grey dot = draft / not live
Edited timeWhen the site was last updated
Status icon (hover)Live site, draft site, or template submission status if applicable
Click a card to open the editor for that site. Right-click or use the ⋯ menu on the card for more actions.

Active vs archived

Use the toggle at the top of the page to switch between:
  • Active sites — sites you are working on
  • Archived sites — sites you moved out of the active list
Archiving hides a site from the main grid but keeps its data. You can restore an archived site or delete it permanently from the archived view. See Managing sites.

Site menu actions

On an active site:
Action
What it does
ViewOpens the site in a new browser tab (organization view route)
EditOpens the full-screen editor
DuplicateCreates a copy of the site and opens the new copy in the editor
ArchiveMoves the site to Archived sites (owners and admins only)
On an archived site (owners and admins):
Action
What it does
RestoreMoves the site back to Active sites
Delete permanentlyRemoves the site and all content — cannot be undone
Editors with site access can open and edit sites but cannot archive or permanently delete them unless they have admin actions or an admin role.

Creating a site

Click New site or the create card to start the three-step wizard:
  • Site details — name and preview domain (your-slug.aveiro.page)
  • Pick a template — gallery template or continue without one for a blank start
  • Style your site — initial color and typography presets
Full walkthrough: Create your first site. Template guidance: Choosing a template.

Sites vs the editor

Area
Purpose
Sites (dashboard)List, create, duplicate, archive, and jump into a site
EditorEdit pages, layout, components, styles, and settings for one site
The dashboard manages which sites exist. The editor manages what is inside a site.

Plan limits

Your organization plan may cap how many active sites you can have. If creation or duplication fails with a quota message, check Billing → Usage or archive a site you no longer need.
