Messaging Overview

Visitor sign-in on published sites, support chat, and the organization Inbox — how Aveiro connects site visitors to your team.

Visitor Support Chat
In short
Visitors sign in on your published site through Aveiro — including pre-launch coming-soon pages. After sign-in they can manage email subscriptions and chat with you when support chat is enabled. Your team replies from Dashboard → Inbox.

What messaging covers

Aveiro messaging is the layer between published sites and your organization dashboard:
  • Visitor login — a floating Aveiro button on published sites (including coming-soon pre-launch) so visitors authenticate with their Aveiro account
  • Visitor assistant — optional AI Q&A and human support chat in a floating bubble (see Visitor assistant)
  • Support chat — signed-in visitors message your team; conversations land in Inbox
  • Inbox — your support queue for visitor threads, with live updates and status controls
Visitor login complements Audience — it does not replace signup forms or campaigns. Signup forms still collect addresses; login ties a person to an Aveiro account so chat and smoother subscription UX work on the live site.

What visitor login unlocks

Each capability has its own gate. Visitor login is the first step for all of them; support chat also requires org-level setup.

Anonymous visitors never see the chat button. If chat is not enabled for your organization, signed-in visitors still get the avatar menu and pre-filled signup — just no chat icon above it.

Visitor experience on a live site

When Visitor login is enabled and site settings are published:
  • Anonymous visitors see a floating Aveiro avatar in the corner you chose.
  • Tapping it opens a short explainer — authentication is powered by Aveiro, and after sign-in they can manage all their Aveiro site subscriptions in one place and chat with site owners.
  • Sign in sends them through the Aveiro auth flow and returns them to the same page with a session on your site domain.
  • Signed-in visitors see their avatar menu (dashboard link, sign out).
  • When support chat is enabled for your organization, a chat button appears above the avatar menu.
Chat does not show to anonymous visitors. It does not show at all on the public site until your organization has enabled visitor support chat. Human support chat is available on coming-soon pages once the site is published; the AI visitor assistant only appears when the site is fully live.
