Quasar is your organization-wide AI assistant — one chat on every dashboard and editor page. Open it from the floating launcher or ⌘/Ctrl+J. It uses the same tools as the Aveiro MCP server to edit sites, draft newsletters and social posts, generate media, and read analytics.
What Quasar can do
Quasar is org-scoped: one assistant follows you across the dashboard, site editor, and campaign editor. Your conversation and any in-progress response stay mounted when you navigate — you do not lose context switching from Sites to a site or to Audience.Typical requests:
Write or rewrite page content and headlines
Create new pages or collections
Reorder pages within a collection, move pages between folders, or change folder sort mode
Update page metadata (title, summary, tag)
Adjust site styles or layout settings
Generate images (when enabled on your plan)
Capture product screenshots of public pages into site media — pick a mockup style, read warnings before embedding, and use start_screenshot_login when the page needs an account (when a site is in focus)
Draft newsletter campaigns or social posts (drafts only — send and publish stay human actions)
Read analytics and workspace summaries
Publish or unpublish pages when you explicitly ask
It works through tools (structured actions) rather than only suggesting text you paste manually. In-app tools mirror the Aveiro MCP server surface — agents and the dashboard share the same capabilities.

On large screens, Quasar opens as a docked right column (~24rem) that reflows the page — not an overlay. Collapse it with the panel control; open state persists in your browser.
On small screens, the same launcher opens a full-height sheet. The launcher hides while the panel is open.
In the site editor
The editor left rail no longer has a separate AI tab. Pages is the default panel tab. Quasar lives in the global assistant dock instead.
When you have a site open, Quasar automatically knows the active site and page. Edits to the page you are viewing still use the same review flow — proposal blocks for the open file, tool cards with Apply/Revert for server-side changes. See Working with AI changes.
Use the focus site picker in the assistant header when you are on the dashboard but want Quasar to target a specific site.
Opening message
A new chat starts with a short assistant-written briefing — unpublished pages, recent newsletters, social drafts, and what you are looking at right now. Suggestion chips offer one-click next steps Quasar can actually run.
The greeting is generated once per new chat (not on every navigation) and does not debit your AI credits.
Chat tabs
You can run multiple chat threads per organization (up to the limit shown in the UI). Use New chat for a fresh context — useful when switching from homepage work to an unrelated task.
Delete old chats from the tab strip when you no longer need them.
Scope and guardrails
Quasar is Aveiro's workspace agent — not a general-purpose chatbot. It focuses on your sites, newsletters, social drafts, and analytics. Off-topic asks (homework, unrelated code, other products) get a short decline with the closest Aveiro action offered instead.
Destructive actions (deletes, publishes) and newsletter send / social post-now require explicit confirmation. API tokens and MCP tools follow the same draft-only rules for outbound sends.
Attachments
The composer supports image attachments from your computer or site library — helpful for reference layouts or replacing media. PDF attachments work on Quasar Max only; on Lite, attach images for visual reference. Limits apply to count and total size per message.

Usage meters show how many AI generations remain this billing period. Upgrade or top up from the model menu when you hit limits.
Plan limits
AI usage is metered per organization. When you reach the limit, chat may be restricted until your plan resets or you upgrade. Check Billing → Usage for details.
How changes are applied
When Quasar proposes edits, you see change cards on the assistant message:
Apply — run the change on your site
Revert — undo an applied change
Revert all — roll back everything from that turn
Some destructive actions (deletes, publishes) may require explicit confirmation. MDX content changes on the open page often apply automatically with undo available.
