Sending Domains

Verify sender domains for outbound email, or connect your own email provider (BYOK) on eligible plans.

In short
Audience → Domains is where you prove you own the address you send from. Add DNS records for a sender domain, or on paid plans connect Resend, Postmark, or similar as your email provider.

Why domains matter

Campaigns and welcome emails need a trusted From address. Without a verified sender domain or configured email provider, sends are blocked and the campaign editor shows a readiness warning. Open Audience → Domains to configure sending.

Two tabs

Depending on your plan, you see one or both:

If both are available, switch tabs at the top of the page.

Sender domains

Add a domain

  • Click Add sender domain.
  • Enter the domain (e.g. mail.yourbrand.com or your root domain).
  • Copy the DNS records shown — SPF, DKIM, and related entries.
  • Add them at your domain registrar or DNS host.
  • Click Refresh and check DNS — Aveiro polls until status is Verified.

Domain limits

Your plan may cap how many sender domains you can add. Usage shows as X of Y used or unlimited on higher tiers.
Free plan
Sender domains may require a paid plan on some tiers. If you see an upgrade message, verified sending from your own address is not included on your current plan.

After verification

  • Use @yourdomain.com addresses in campaign From fields
  • Deliverability stats appear per domain on
Deliverability
  • Removing a domain stops sends from that address

    • Email provider (BYOK)

    On eligible paid plans, connect your own transactional email account:
    • Open the Email provider tab.
    • Click Add provider.
    • Choose provider (e.g. Resend, Postmark), add a label, paste your API key, and optionally set a default From address.
    • Mark one provider as Default if you configure several.
    Aveiro verifies credentials against the provider API before saving.
    Routing
    With a default provider set, outbound mail routes through your account. Without BYOK, sends use your verified sender domain via the platform.
    Paid only
    Bring-your-own provider is paid-only at launch. Verified sender domains are the recommended path on every plan.

    Provider status

    Each provider shows Verified, Unverified, or Failed. Remove failed entries and re-add with corrected keys.

    Which path to choose
