In short

Monetization is the dashboard section for selling your own digital products on Aveiro sites. Connect payouts once, create reusable products with prices and files, gate pages with paywalls, and surface a storefront with the Products block. Fourthwall merch stays on /shop — native products live at /products/{slug}.

What monetization covers

Aveiro Monetization lets you sell digital products you own — downloads, access bundles, and recurring memberships — without leaving the platform:

Products — reusable offers with name, slug, price, storefront images, and optional download files
Storefront pages — each active product gets a public page at /products/{slug} on the site that owns it
Paywall gates — pick one or more products in page or collection settings; buying any one unlocks the gate
Payouts — Stripe Connect (and PayPal where enabled) so checkout settles to your connected account

This is separate from Fourthwall merch (/shop/{handle}) and from Ads display inventory. A site can run native products and a Fourthwall store side by side.

Enable the feature

Monetization is available when your organization has the capability and the feature toggles you need:

Open Organization → Features and confirm Monetization and Products are on (Products depends on Monetization).
Members who manage products need the Manage monetization capability (owners and admins have it by default).
Before the first sale, finish Monetization → Payouts — connect Stripe so checkout can pay out to you. The product list stays hidden behind a setup card until payouts are ready.

The Monetization accordion appears in the organization sidebar when you can view the section.

Typical workflow

Publish the site	Editor → Settings → Publish

Draft and retired products are not reachable on the live site — only active products appear in the storefront and in the Products block.
