From Settings → Site → Custom domain, add your hostname, copy DNS records to your registrar, and verify. SSL is issued automatically after verification.
Prerequisites
Site is saved (not a disconnected draft project)
You control DNS at the domain registrar
Published content is recommended so visitors see something useful on go-live — not strictly required for DNS setup
Connect a domain
Open Settings → Custom domain → Edit.
Enter the domain name (e.g. www.example.com or docs.example.com).
Aveiro shows DNS records to add at your registrar.
After adding records, use Refresh and check DNS.
When verified, status shows connected — SSL provisions automatically.
DNS tips
Copy hostnames and values exactly from the panel
TTL changes may take minutes to hours to propagate
Use Refresh after propagation before assuming failure
Status states

Meaning
Not connected
No domain configured yet
Pending

Remove a domain
Use Remove in the domain panel to detach the hostname. Your *.aveiro.page slug URL becomes the primary public URL again (redirects stop).
Troubleshooting
Verification fails
Confirm CNAME/A records match Aveiro’s instructions
Remove conflicting records for the same host
Wait for DNS propagation and refresh again
Vercel / hosting not configured
