Editor Overview

How the Aveiro site editor is laid out — panel, preview, editing modes, and the six sidebar tabs.

Media Library
In short
The editor opens when you click a site from the dashboard. The left rail switches between AI, Pages, Layout, Components, Styles, and Settings. The main area shows a live preview and your page content in Preview, Visual, or Source mode.

Opening the editor

From Sites, click a site card or choose Edit from the site menu. The URL includes your organization ID, site ID, and /edit. Use the back to Sites control at the top of the left rail to return to the dashboard without signing out.

Layout

The editor is a split view:
Area
Purpose
Left railIcons to switch panel tabs (AI, Pages, Layout, Components, Styles, Settings, Integrations)
Left panelContent for the active tab — file tree, chat, layout slots, integrations, etc.
Top toolbarSite switcher, page picker, device preview width, edit mode, publish, shortcuts
Preview / canvasLive preview of the open page, or the visual/source editor when editing
Changes save automatically as you edit. A saved-state indicator shows when content is syncing.

Panel tabs

Tab
Use it for
AIChat with Quasar — create pages, rewrite copy, update layout and styles via tools
PagesFile tree, collections, page settings, sort order, create/delete pages
LayoutSite-wide and per-collection layout templates, header, footer, sidebars
ComponentsInsert blocks — heroes, media, signup forms, MDX components
StylesSite theme — colors, typography, radius, and global tokens
SettingsSite name, URL, SEO, analytics, consent, publish, custom domain
IntegrationsFourthwall — storefront token, checkout URL, Store collection
Each tab has its own section in this documentation. Start with Pages if you are new to the editor.

Editing modes

When a page is open, switch modes from the toolbar:
Mode
Best for
PreviewSee the page as visitors will — read-only in the canvas
VisualClick blocks to select, edit text inline, reorder sections
SourceEdit raw MDX directly — full control for advanced users
See Preview, Visual, and Source for details and Keyboard shortcuts.

Preview device sizes

The toolbar includes mobile, tablet, and desktop preview widths. These only change the frame size in the editor — they do not alter your layout breakpoints (configured in Layout).

Publish from the editor

Settings includes a Live / Not live publish menu. You can publish site settings (SEO, styles, layout) and selected pages in one action. Publishing is separate from saving drafts.

Version history

While editing a page, open version history from the toolbar to compare or restore earlier saves. See Version history.
